First I think!! Go Ken, getting that baby on smoking (I KNEW Ken smoked!)
Congrats Jorge on being the new new Jacob (new Jack?).
Thank Jorge for all the memories and I'm waiting for more with what you do next. Expecting an Emmy for your performance this season.
Thanks Jorge and Beth for these podcasts. Another clump of drug for us Losties to put in our mind-veins. You guys did a great job on this podcast and it was very appreciated.
Jorge: Congratulations on wrapping up six riveting seasons of television and, moreover, your outstanding work on the finale!
Bethany and Jorge: Thank you for all of your work on GJB, which has been thoroughly entertaining and informative throughout. (Favorite moment: Sidekick22's Speak-and-Spell impersonation, and Jorge's subsequent laughter.)
I look forward to seeing what adventures you guys embark upon next!
Awesome stuff! Thanks so much for all the photos this whole season! And congrats on inheriting the Island. Hopefully that story will get told in comics or something one day... 'cause that'd be pretty sweet.
I showed my girlfriend the picture of the fake Aaron smoking without telling her the caption. He face was priceless. I just want to thank you guys for giving us a unique insight on the greatest show that I have ever experienced. Good luck in your future projects.
Jorge and Beth, We would certainly not appear in your flash sideways, but you will be there in ours. Thank you for making it all so real. Unforgettable. Thank you!
Because I am an infant and liked it when Henry Ian Cusick said a four-letter word on the last podcast, I kept hoping for you guys to up the ante this week.
GJB is already gold, but it'd be even golden-er if you said dirty words on it. Also, I expected Sidekick 22 to mention the final Harry Potter book at some point; sadly, it was not to be.
Hey guys, I just want to thank you soooo much for being such dedicated fans of your fans. Not many people of your status care as much about what you do to take time from your lives to show your fans as much love as you guys do. I really feel like you love us and we appreciate everything you have done! You were amazing throughout the whole life of Lost and I look forward to watching the rest of your career. I must admit that after watching "The End" on Sunday night I walked away saying WTF?? but after you read the last few lines in the script... I had to cry a little. It made it really hit home. Thanks again for all you have done, Love ya lots
just a note while i'm listening - i could be wrong but i DO remember ben saving hurley and telling him to get out of the way as he pushed him when the tree fell. am i wrong? i definitely remembered that.
Congratulations on "The End!" Were slightly different edits of the finale shown depending on where you watched it? Because I totally saw Ben yell at Hugo to get out out of the way and push him over before Ben got pinned by the tree. Then Hugo tells everyone else that they have to try to move the tree. What I never saw was the tree coming off Ben.
Dude! Loved your character (and you) and I'm glad that you ultimately came to be the power. And not just because you refused to climb a ladder down a cliff. Even though the story was Jack-as-hero-centric, it was only logical that Hurley inherited the job as protector of the cork.
But... the end was a major bait-and-switch. I know you and the other actors can't trash the writers and producers, but come onnnnnn. Go to any forum and the people who post could have written a much more satisfying and logical ending than what we saw. I stuck with it and it was a major letdown. The writers just asked way too much of the viewers.
I have enjoyed your podcasts and I wish you guys the best that life has to offer. Keep shining Jorge and Beth.
P.S. I always wanted to ask where you got Nunu's name. Could be a Hawaiian name or could have been after the adorable (ahem) Chihuahua from the first episode of The Dog Whisperer (my personal hero).
P.S.S. There is no evil. I'm really getting tired of the good vs evil crap in storytelling. Time to come up with another device. People take it seriously and start wars and stuff.
ben definitely says "get out of the way hugo!" and sorta saves hurley, they didn't leave that out. but i'm pretty sure someone else (kate?) says "we have to try" and there is no further mention of ben saving him...
Hey Jorge. O'Quinn rightfully gets beaucoup credit for his transformation into a completely different person with Locke's face over the course of the year but you did a solid job showing just that right amount of transformation in the sideflashes/limbo realm. There was a quiet confidence and maturity added to Hurley's romantic self doubt that retrospectively at least, seems even stronger. Since at least hypothetically it comes not from an ambiguously luckier and altered Hurley but from the guy who spent an untold period as the islands true guardian and as Ben says "made a great #1."
Heya, thanks for the podcasts i've really enjoyed listening to them and I hope you continue to make more, there is life/afterlife after lost right? I think you need to possibly write an alternative set of prequels for star wars....just a thought :)
wow, after bawling for 2.5 hours on may 23rd, i get to listen to the last podcast, and if i have anything left in me, i will do some more crying... thanks for sharing the last season of lost with us, through your eyes, sidekick22 and Jorge!!!
That 'baby' is actually, Ralph Nerkum, 32 year old character actor from Waynesboro, Tennessee. Smoking stunted his growth so he has been given the very fruitful opportunity to be a baby actor and stand-in for real babies without the constraints of the Child Labor Laws. Nerkum has appeared many movies, TV shows and commercials and was recently at the center of a lawsuit between Lindsay Lohan and "E-Trade" for an ad in which he allegedly portrayed the boozy-schmoozy fallen-from-grace actress. He first appeared next to Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson in the movie "Three Men and a Baby" and it was through the mutual friendship with Ted Danson that Ralph Nerkum and Jorge Garcia first met. The connection earned Nerkum a coveted and repeating role on the highly acclaimed TV show "Lost" playing the multiple roles of Baby Aaron, Baby Alex, Baby Ben Linus, Baby Charlie Hume and also Baby Jacob. Ralph Nerkum currently resides at his Brentwood home with his family, awaiting his next role, Disney's new feature length movie, "Mowgli" in which he will portray Kipling's most famous "Jungle Book" character during his early infant years, a role which will have him suckling from the teat of a real live wolf. A proud father moment, the movie also stars Nerkum's own 10 year old son Jason, who will play Mowgli as an older boy. "Mowgli" is due to hit the theaters in July 2011.
I'll probably come off sounding like a nutcase, but the finale had a pretty big emotional effect on me, way more than something that's "just a tv show" should have. But then, LOST was never "just a tv show", it was storytelling par excellence. The perfect storm of acting, writing, music, directing, photography.
I wanted to take a moment once again to extend my thanks, this podcast and Jorge's blog gave fans the opportunity to experience vicariously from your perspective, so that we might feel what it was like to have been part of something so special.
I hope that didn't come off like a raving lunatic fanboy.
Thanks so much for taking time to share your experiences and thoughts with us over the course of this season. I truly enjoyed listening and laughing with you both. Cheers
Great last podcast. I know you've heard it before but it's so wonderful that you guys did this for the fans. It's just been so much fun following the adventure with you like this.
The Dharmacakra (Dharma Wheel) is the Buddhist symbol. The 8 spokes on the wheel represent the Noble Eightfold Path and the cycle of birth and rebirth. I consider myself a student of Buddhism and I was really pleased and in fact even relieved to see the window in the church was so multi-denominational and inclusive, containing symbols for the most common religions; Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism. Our common link is a belief in an afterlife of some sort so it was nice to see everyone represented and therefore respected. One more feather in the cap for the deep thought that went into writing the episodes of that show. They just never skipped a beat the entire season. Everything was bang on *perfect* all the way through.
Question: What am I suppose to watch now? Lost as so consuming for the last 6 years what with all the theories and red herrings set out to distract us and lead us astray. I almost feel I should through my TV out because it's outlived it's usefulness... except that I'll need it to watch the DVDs.
I agree with Jorge about the flash sideways world not being just a creation by Jack. Here are a few examples of why this is: John Locke is in a wheelchair. Jack never had any knowledge of John being paralyzed. So, if he created this world why would he put John in a wheelchair? Ben is in this world and he is a teacher. Jack never meets Ben in the flash sideways. So why would Ben be there and why would he be a teacher. It doesn't serve Jacks' purpose in any way. People like Helen, Nadia, Sayids' brother, Liam, Randy Nations, Mikal Jack never met or knew about any of these people during his time on the island so why would they be there. How about Libby being in Santa Rosa he had no knowledge of that either. How do you explain Desmonds' role in the flash sideways. It just makes more sense that the world was created by all of them as a place where they could work on their issues, learn to let go and ultimately move on. Also I think Richard started aging because Jacob the man who gave him his gift was finally completely gone from the island after his ashes burned away.

I agree with the cute baby mumbles during the claire / kate scene. I'm glad Hugo was to be protector all along, that was the COOLEST! Oh hey, anyone else think David is Sawyers son? "But Jack, you don't have a son". And remember, the "limbo" wasn't their real lives from before.
that moment in the finale when hurley realizes that jack is going to die is one of my favorite moments of any show in the history of tv. simply amazing work. thank you for giving us the gift of this beautiful character.
Thanks so much for the podcast and the pictures. Yea, the baby with the cigarette is just a tad creepy! Jorge, all of the actors were great in the finale, but I have to say you, Michael Emerson and Matthew Fox were just wonderful. If you guys don't get nominated for an emmy there is something wrong!
well sweet cakes ..you and your friends took us on the greatest ride of our life for 6 wonderful years..how can we ever thank you? Goddess bless you my little buddy..
Thanks Jorge and Beth for a season of delightful podcasts! Please continue to keep us updated on your future endeavors. You have helped make my first year of retirement as a school teacher of 32 years so much fun! Good luck and best wishes to a great couple!
Thank you so much for doing this podcast. It was a great filler during the season when there wasn't an episode and I was itching for a LOST fix. Congratulations on everything Jorge and I'm so stoked that Hurley is the new Jacob! ;)
Thank you, Bethany and Jorge, for providing us fans with insight into the last season. I truly appreciate all the work that's gone into making GJB, and LOST.
You've definitely gained a huge fan in me - I'll follow your blogs and (hopefully) podcasts wherever you both end up. :)
Jorge, 'Lost' has been the best tv viewing experience I have had in all of my 46+ years. Hurley will always be one of my favorite characters, evah! And that's because of you. Thank you, deeply and sincerely. You gave my entire family something so great to share! That says a lot, my friend.
RE smokin' baby Aaron: Here's the real thing! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2987307/First-shocking-pictures-of-smoking-toddler-Ardi-Rizal.html
Awesome Pics. I loved the finale. I will miss this show, but I will never forget the pure genius and heart that Lost brought to us all. Jorge good luck in all your new endevours
Fantastic Job! I was worried when you described feeling 'completely satisfied' about the finale - I felt like that was a way of saying 'it was just OK'. BUT having watched it that was exaclty how I felt - I walked around all day (having got up at 5am to watch in the UK) with this stupid grin on my face, so you were spot on with your description!
Looking forward to your final podcast and to seeing you in your next project - have really enjoyed reading this blog and your messages from the island - thanks for doing them - both of you.
All the best & good luck for the future Jayne in the UK
May I be the 2,344,256th person to say that was awesome and thanks so much to everybody.finale was really great-- in a death-by-chocolate kind of way. Seriously dudes, I thought it was perfect. Bye now.
The 'flash sideways' definitely isn't Jack's created world. I think that all of the characters that we recognize are really there, dead, also a lot of things happened that Jack wasn't ever aware of, like Jack never knew about Helen or that Locke was paralyzed, also then everything not concerning Jack would have no purpose, so yea Jorge you're right.
Oh and Ben pushing Hurley out of the falling tree's way scene was in there ;).
Jorge & Beth, everyone else has already said so much that I felt, it would just be repetitive. Let me just say that you two are a charming and delightful couple. Thanks for a great podcast, and for your contributions to a great show. All the best to you two.
Matthew...don't be an ass. sidekick22 had some amazing moments on these podcasts and did a perfect job of being the "bad cop". The Speak N' Spell thing was the best moment on all these podcasts ever ;).
Thanks for the podcasts guys. There was a bit of difference for you guys not using the script for this one. A little less structured I guess. Thought you guys would be a bit more emotional after that episode! Guess you are just exhausted :).
Jorge...I gotta say that I was thinking about the acting on the show the other day and I'd say that you are the most improved actor on the show by far. Not trying to say you were bad early on, but trying to give you a compliment...lol
I think you really matured as an actor during the 6 seasons of the show.
I loved your scene with Charlie. So funny. That one and the scene where Jin/Sawyer met in the hospital I thought were great touches to the episode.
Great, great Fianle. Might be the best finale of any show I have seen. Like sidekick22 said, I was completely satisfied at the end.
Amazing, wonderful, beautiful ending! You were fantastic Jorgeman!!! I'm just sad because it's over... Thank you for everything. You're my superhero! It's a bird? It's a plane? No... no. It's Jorgeman! =)
vidcast eh? definitely will keep an eye out for whatever is next
christian coffin thing had me all kind of confused... like how did Desmond intercept the coffin delivery and stuff?
good point on Locke Jorge. This was the first time Rose or Bernard had seen him since way before he died... Rose has some pretty good intuition tho.
it was weird seeing Hurley shoot someone for sure, even if it was a tranq gun.
I was so happy Frank was still alive. You guys totally did make me think he was confirmed dead. Guess you guys were tricked too?
Pretty cool about HIC and the rock thing. hehe. dedication!
Agree Alpert aging was good too. Beth: imo, he started aging because Jacob is dead, and his agelessness was tied to Jacob.
I think Sawyer/Juliet (suliet) "wakeup" was a lot of people's favorites. It was the only scene of the episode that made me tear up.Love Elizabeth mitchell! Juliet was probably one of my most missed characters.
The Shannon/Sayid one had me rolling my eyes though. I was happy Shannon and Boone were back, but it felt really forced to me. Plus, isn't Nadia Sayid's true love? I agree it would of felt less forced if shannon had been in the show more this season.
I think the show is Jack-focused for sure, but I don't know about it only being Jack's purgatory. Jack wasn't in a lot of the scenes, yet the characters still had stuff happen to them.
lol @ castle greyskull.. that set left me wondering: who built the magic light cave? how would someone even do that?
funny about the decoys
I thought Ben was a goner when the tree pinned him. They could lever the tree off Ben but not the metal bar off Sun?
number 1 number 2 thing I didn't understand first time around (I was like... star trek?), but now I get it was supposed to imply their time on the Island together had already transpired.
Whoah... the stab was real? That's crazy! Pretty serendipitous about the patch.
Paaaaaaaaaasta please name your next podcast Dural Sack Jack!
Nobody was allowed to see the Christian scene because that one scene was the whole big stinky enchilada! The entire show, turned on its head in the course of 3 minutes!
LOL Beth did you say Vagina-ism?
good times guys :) now it's time for some RnR looking forward to your final-final podcast
I have been telling my husband (who somehow can hear everything except my voice) that Hurley was special since Season 3. Now I get to taunt him because he said I was wrong and it would be fun if he could hear me.
Seriously, thank YOU for being a great character. Everyone else too -but Jorge you are special because they so rarely allow people of regal girth to be anything but the funny sidekick these days. You broke the mold and I hope it stays that way.
I love how your character developed from a follower to a true leader through the Seasons. I first saw you emerge when you built the golf course and the episode with the van.
Over time, it seemed, people started taking Hurley's advice very seriously and you're character became obviously special and integral to the plot.
Those of us who have considered expand-a-belts and "I heart damn near anything" t-shirts (because they're the only thing in 3X in the whole store) all applaud this great effort!
Please keep considering non-traditional roles!
I've loved you since you first gave Claire two helpings.
I just wanted to say that I loved "The End", except, after listening to one of your previous podcasts when you where making fun of Zoe being referred to as "number two", it was kinda funny when when Jorge was called Number 1, and Ben, Number 2.
BTW, I think, Jorge, you did your best work in this episode.
AYER VI EL ULTIMO EPISODIO DE LOST :))) QUE GRANDE :D!!! UN BESILLO!!!! ME HA ENCANTADO, SOIS MUY GRANDES CHICOS!! GRANDE MILES TAMBIEN!!! :))) MUAK!!!!

You guys are the BEST! I'm going to miss these podcasts :(
Fake Baby Aaron!! Oh, I love you guys!! Thanks so much for everything. What an amazing few years.
Thank you for 6 years of wonderful television. We'll miss you guys being terrorised by Smokie everyday!
LOVE!

HAHAHAHA That smoke in the babies mouth is wrong on soo many levels but so damn funny at the same time.
Great pictures. Thanks for being down to earth enough to create this blog and podcast.

You guys are the best. Thank you Jorge for 6 amazing seasons, and good luck protecting that Island and whatever else is in your future.
Jorge and Beth, We would certainly not appear in your flash sideways, but you will be there in ours. Thank you for making it all so real. Unforgettable. Thank you!

To Jorge Garcia.
¿Pero tu le entendiste a la serie? ¿o que quedaste con alguna duda?
I absolutely love you guys.
Thank you both so much for all the time given to the fans, the memories from the show, the interviews, everything.
I wish nothing but great success and happiness for you both.
I didn't think it possible, but I think Fake Baby is scarier than Squirrel Baby.
Really looking forward to listening to this tomorrow.
Thank you for all the wonderful podcasts!
Good luck with the move.
I wish you nothing but success and happiness.
See ya in another life Brotha!

Best BTS pics EVER. The smoking baby made me giggle like an idiot ;) Ken rocks.
Love your Podcasts Jorge and Sidekick22. thank you for doing this:*
That was a truly terrifying story about the knife. Thank God Michael Trisler insisted on safety or Matthew would have been seriously injured.
Dude! Loved your character (and you) and I'm glad that you ultimately came to be the power. And not just because you refused to climb a ladder down a cliff. Even though the story was Jack-as-hero-centric, it was only logical that Hurley inherited the job as protector of the cork.

hahhaah ohboy Ken!
Can't believe I have only just found this blog now! Loving your work guys! Great show. If not the greatest. :)
Thanks for all!!!!
I'm going to miss you very much.
Awwesome podcast once again! Glad you liked the finale, Beth! I loved it! Hope we get to hear Jorge's feelings on it in the next one.
Also they did include the scene where Ben knocks Hugo out of the way of the tree but not Jorge's line about Ben saving him.

Now off to listen to the podcast!!
I would like to hear you and sidekick do some "life" podcasts. I don't want this to be the end of laughing with you two!

I think the last episode was your best work.
Very believable.
Good luck in your future endeavours.
Great last podcast. I know you've heard it before but it's so wonderful that you guys did this for the fans. It's just been so much fun following the adventure with you like this.

Congratulations on everything Jorge and I'm so stoked that Hurley is the new Jacob! ;)
Thank you Thank You Thank you, for EVERYTHING! I still have a lump in my throat! Tuesday night was NOT the same!
Smokey's clothing is not any more real than his flesh so bullets would just pass through. Unless he hadn't spoken?
Thank you, Bethany and Jorge, for providing us fans with insight into the last season. I truly appreciate all the work that's gone into making GJB, and LOST.
You've definitely gained a huge fan in me - I'll follow your blogs and (hopefully) podcasts wherever you both end up. :)
That fake baby has some creepy behind hair! Also, are those ORBS on the Ajira plane. Dun, dun, duuuuuuun.
Please keep up the wonderful podcasts. Any topic will do, really.
Love,
Sarah
That is hilarious!
Jorge, 'Lost' has been the best tv viewing experience I have had in all of my 46+ years. Hurley will always be one of my favorite characters, evah! And that's because of you. Thank you, deeply and sincerely. You gave my entire family something so great to share! That says a lot, my friend.
See ya 'round!
RE smokin' baby Aaron: Here's the real thing!

All the best & good luck for the future
Jayne in the UK
Like sidekick22 said, I was completely satisfied at the end.
you trolled us irl for 6 years.
Amazing, wonderful, beautiful ending! You were fantastic Jorgeman!!! I'm just sad because it's over... Thank you for everything. You're my superhero!
It's a bird? It's a plane? No... no. It's Jorgeman! =)
i'm a fan and always will be a fan... thanks guys for 6 years of great tv.. c u around... :-)
vidcast eh?
definitely will keep an eye out for whatever is next
christian coffin thing had me all kind of confused... like how did Desmond intercept the coffin delivery and stuff?
good point on Locke Jorge.
Paaaaaaaaaasta
please name your next podcast Dural Sack Jack!
Nobody was allowed to see the Christian scene because that one scene was the whole big stinky enchilada! The entire show, turned on its head in the course of 3 minutes!
LOL Beth did you say Vagina-ism?
good times guys :)
now it's time for some RnR
looking forward to your final-final podcast
Goodbye Lost.
Kelly
I just wanted to say that I loved "The End", except, after listening to one of your previous podcasts when you where making fun of Zoe being referred to as "number two", it was kinda funny when when Jorge was called Number 1, and Ben, Number 2.
BTW, I think, Jorge, you did your best work in this episode.
It was great to see Jorge, that your character became the protector of The Island.
Well done, and I loved your work in LOST :)
Those pictures were awesome.
