Episode #605 The Lighthouse

Boo! This episode of GJB is a spoooooooky one! It's our Halloween in February episode since we recorded it back in the witchy month of October, just a few days after Beth had her first official sighting of a real apparition. Onion ghosts, eerie background sounds, ghost stories and utter distraction. Oooo-weeee-oooo! Enjoy!

There were a few very minor things we mentioned in the podcast that didn't exactly make it to air:

• "Hey this is Brian" - There was another message on David's voicemail from a buddy name Brian about having a sleep over.
• "Apollo candy is now Apollo soda" - The drink that David takes from the fridge was called an Apollo soda in the script but became unknown as he had his hand over it. "
• Claire's peanut butter" - In the description of Claire's hovel they mention that the empty peanut butter jar from Charlie is on one of the shelves.

Due to a fan email, I am writing this post...

While we will not be giving out any spoliers about LOST on GJB podcasts, we may be giving out some Harry Potter spoilers. Sorry to those who I have already spoiled. I thought that by now HP was like "The Sixth Sense" and that everyone knew Dumbledore dies!

Please keep in mind that I LOVE me some Harry Potter and I compare its story to LOST a lot.

So for all future GJB podcasts, consider yourself warned. You will most likely hear something spoilery about any one of the seven Harry Potter books.

See? Aren't you glad that the Drunken Sawyer Pukes moment got edited out?

Episode #604 The Substitute

Welcome back to the beardy world of GJB! We've got an all new epi for you based on this week's Locke-centric episode, which was great!

Unfortunately we had to edit out some of the things that we originally discussed because those moments did not make it to the episode that aired last night, so it might be a tiny bit choppy in just a few places.

Hmmmmmm, are you now wondering what those things were??? Sorry, can't say.

A few notes about last night's episode:

• Beth's new favorite line in the series: LOCKE "Have you ever parked a car in your life?!"


• Other names that we noticed on the ceiling: Goodspeed, Littleton, Troupe, Faraday, Straume


• Tucker Gates directed this epi and gave it very unique camera angles that we don't feel we've ever really seen in a LOST episode


• And did Josh sit in something when he had his boxers on in the house? I mean, tell me he sat in something. Even if he didn't sit in something, please tell me he sat in something. I can't wait to ask Josh about it.

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the positive feedback on the first podcast. We know that the audio isn't the best quality and that for now it's only in the left channel, but bear with us. We're still working on fixing that issue. Hopefully this episode sounds better thanks to Brad England of Sight Unseen Productions. Also, we now have fantastic theme music by Jarred Matthes.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the blog for Geronimo Jack's Beard, a LOST podcast brought to you by Sidekick22 and that other guy.

This podcast has been waiting a long time to finally be heard. We began recording episodes way back in August '09 when LOST began filming its sixth and final season.

While we may not always completely make sense or know what's actually going on, and we may have accidentally deleted pieces of what we've recorded at times, we hope that the podcasts are at least entertaining enough for you to listen to.
