Episode #610 The Package

This may just be the grossest GJB podcast that we've done thus far. Sorry.

We recorded it over Christmas in Milwaukee and the cold weather got the best of us. Jorge was pretty sick during it. Two days later Sidekick22 was in the emergency room with a 104 fever and an ear infection. Our sincerest apologies for Jorge's constant sniffling (among other things) and the overall stuffiness of this episode.

Episode #609 Ab Aeterno

The moment we started recording this episode a barrage of jack hammers and other construction noise from the street hit the house. Our place is unfortunately very open and the only room that has somewhat closed off walls is the bathroom.

So we headed into the bathroom, got comfortable and discussed "Ab Aeterno".

(Note: This was the last podcast where we used the nice mic and GarageBand to record. We had set up the phone to record this one as a back up and it's a good thing we did because the computer took a crap around thirty minutes and we lost yet another podcast. From then on we've used the phone only to record.)

Episode #608 Recon

Welcome back to our podcast for episode #608 "Recon". Unfortunately there wasn't any Hurley in last night's episode but there was more squirrel baby and also a dash of Sidekick22!

This was my last episode as an Ajira survivor. We spent a good three hours on the ground getting bit by sand fleas, lying on top of each other, holding our breath, and trying not to blink. It was a good day.

Cheese Curds

Just to clear up the online discussion...the line was "cheese curds", not "cheese carrots" when Hurley wakes up.

It's a Wisconsin thing, and oddly enough during our podcast for episode #610 that we recorded while in Wisconsin for Xmas, we mention cheese curds quite a bit.

One of the writers of the epi, Adam Horowitz, went to UW-Madison so I guess he was just reminiscing about the fantastic wonders that are cheese curds.

Inside Tidbit: Season 1

Check out the picture below. This is in one of the tents at the beach camp. The bench that Jorge is sitting on was used as the stretcher/table that they put Boone on after he had the accident in the Nigerian plane.

If you look to the left of Jorge's leg there is a hole punched out of the metal and they lined it with black tape and padding. This is where Ian Somerhalder put his real leg through and the fake injured leg was placed on top to look like it was his.

Episode #607 Dr. Linus

Aloha! Welcome to our sixth episode! This is a special podcast because we had our very good friend, Michael Emerson, come by to record with us and give his take on filming "Dr. Linus".

Mario Van Peebles (who directed this epi) brought a disposable camera to set and took pictures with everyone. It was cool because on top of being a great director, we could see he was having fun being a part of the show. Here we are the morning we shot the wakeup scene with one of our writers, Adam Horowitz (left) who was also on set that day.
